BTW, you can expect even better support for IBM/Lenovo machines : the vendor has just sent us a large sample of the newest models.

Sorry, I made a mistake : kpowersave is using “powersave” which is a set of scripts similar to those in pmsuspend, but dinstinct. However, powersave’s scripts work perfectly on my laptop (hp zd8000) and I can even suspend to RAM and to DISK which was impossible with Mandriva 2006.

On KDE, one should user “kpowersave” which calls pmsuspend appropriately. We’re still waiting for klaptop to use the proper way to do suspend…
