I helped my company set up a quad head setup where a dedicated quad head was deemed prohibitively expensive. So we went with a dual head pci card and a matrox dualhead2go on the onboard agp. It worked quite well in windows xp - sorry, not allowed to test a linux distro ;-)

At home, my nvidia based on board card has dual head and I am really awaiting mandriva 2008.1 which promises multi-user local X. My current set up has two monitors, two keyboards and two mice - but only one user can be on at one time. I know I can probably get multi user X working if I tried, but I am not in the mood to mess up the home pc, and invite the wife's wrath.

As it is, I have trouble enough if I start a new session and Ctrl-F7 back. All bluetooth and removable mount messages goes to the new session and often I wonder why my ipod is refusing to automount.
