nothing, really, it’s just a pain to set up initially and keep working, and it’s much easier to sync OTA than via a cable.

I’m still using synce (and trying to get away from google), what did not work for you ? I’m a little bit involved in the sync engine so I may be able to help.

Ahead of you on this…been syncing with google since getting an E71. Symbain supports activesync using the MailForExchange app, and syncs calendar, contacts and email with google, even though the guide on google says to not sync email. Ive even got a script in lotus notes to export my calendar from work into csv that can be imported into google calendar, though im sure there must be something more elegant!
